Busy-ness and Professional progress.
July 23, 2008 – 8:13 pmI did not update this blog in ages for various reasons.
First, I was in the process of switching my employers and then my website database went down due to a server crash and they did not bother restoring my database or even calling me, until I called them yesterday.
So now it is back - up and running.
I have accepted a position at uBid.com as their senior accountant. The 2-year experience at Deloitte was invaluable and hopefully I can apply what I learned there, at uBid.com, while learning new things.
There has been a lot happening at uBid.com recently and I am very excited to be part of the company during these changes.
For those of you unfamiliar with uBid.com, it is a Ebay and overstock.com type of company, but they have recently shifted their focus on liquidating inventories form major brands and retailers, rather than the typical auction style sales (which is a dying trend).
